Walk Through the Door

BL_016_OpenedDoors.jpg

“Doors are meant to be opened and walked through.” I have always had a fascination with doors and boxes/chests with lids…the curiosity just gets to me and makes me feel the need to open them and see what’s on the other side or hiding within.

You reaction to a door may be based on your fear of the unknown, where it is located, what material it is made from, what color it is, if it’s wide or narrow, if there is more than one to choose from, whether it feels welcoming or defensive, whether it is slightly ajar or firmly closed, whether you feel pressured by someone else to open it, or maybe even just based on your mood at that point in time. When you make the choice to open a door, you are opening yourself to possibilities and opportunities to receive. When you keep the door closed, you close yourself off from those possibilities and opportunities. Instead of fearing the door, be excited that there is a door…and open it!

Are you curious about what’s on the other side of the door?

Are you willing to open the door?

Are you open to receive what is on the other side of the door?
