Do you like your view?
“Your view depends on where you stand.” If you are not satisfied with your current view, look out from somewhere else.
Just as we are all individually unique, what we see is also unique…and that can change by the moment. Your view can be impacted by internal factors such as your thoughts, emotions, mental health, physical health, and spiritual health. Your view can be impacted by external local and global factors such as economics, media (all formats), politics, social experiences, and even the weather. You always have the ability to change your view and look at things from a different perspective and a different place. Changing your view can be as big as changing where you live to something small like sitting in a different chair; it can mean just considering a different point of view in a conversation—the options are many and it is always a choice.
Here are some questions to ask yourself. What do you see? Do you like what you see? Can you see beyond what is right in front of you? Can you see all around you? Do you wish to see further? Is the view clear or cluttered? Does the view give you energy or does it suck your energy? Do you need to change where you stand?
