Retreat . . . Noun or Verb?
It is still winter in Minnesota, which means many are still traveling to warmer, sunnier climates to recharge. Regardless of where you live, this is what I would like you to ask yourself . . . Are you going to a place? Or are you going inside yourself?
The Winter season is a great time for a retreat (some may call it hibernation) and our bodies often tell us when it is time. If you don’t take time for this, I strongly encourage you to do so—in whatever way that works for you—as it is important to honor that time and yourself (whether individually, as a couple, or as a family). A winter retreat follows the excitement of entering a new year, it inspires you to do some Life Cleansing, it allows you to breathe and relax, and helps you prepare to emerge in the Spring—refreshed, energized, and ready to move forward in a clear, strong, and positive way.
